Yoga is a great way to nurture your body when you’re pregnant. It strengthens and prepares the body for birth while also stretching the tight muscles often associated with pregnancy. Yoga also helps expectant mothers connect with their breath, an important part of managing labour as well as learning to relax and connect with their unborn babies.
Therefore in this short blog post, I share with you some of the benefits of coming along to pregnancy yoga classes.
About My Pregnancy Yoga Classes
The classes I teach for expectant mothers consist of a relaxing flow of postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama) and relaxation techniques (yoga nidra) to help calm the mind and relax the body. I welcome all levels and abilities, whether you have attended yoga before becoming pregnant or never done it before!
